What a fun bunch of different questions this week!

WOULD YOU RATHER:
1. eat chocolate covered grasshoppers or this freaky squid thing?
Oh hell no! I would eat chocolate covered grasshoppers, no problem. One – They’re CHOCOLATE. Two – anything involving squid makes me instantly nauseous.

2. never see another movie or never watch TV again?
Never see another movie. I’m addicted to my TV shows, far more than I’m addicting to watching movies.

3. be a superhero with a lame power or a supervillain with an awesome power?
I’d be a super villain, because I’m already pretty evil as it is.

4. eat only salty snacks for the rest of you life, or only sweet snacks?
Salty. I love popcorn, pretzels and chips. I’m set.

5. never read another book or never hear another song?
Never hear another song. At least I still have the ones in my head, right? I love reading too much.

6. be a whale carcass remover or a sewer inspector?
Whale carcass remover. I don’t do bodily fluids. Or anything else that people may flush down the toilets. I blame a class field trip to the water treatment plant for that one.

7. have no electricity or no running water?
No running water, because at least I could go to the river, fill up some jugs with water, and then boil it.

8. be a dog or a cat?
A dog. I’ve always been a dog person, and after reading The Art of Racing in the Rain, I think I’d be like that dog.

9. always be hot or always be cold?
Always be cold. I can’t handle being too warm. It makes me cranky. Like, extremely cranky.

10. be forced to watch all three High School Musicals on an endless loop, or the Twilight movies?
Ugh. I don’t even know. Are the Twilight movies on an endless loops as well? Maybe I’d do with them because at least there’s no singing. Stupid vampires.

1. What temperature do you keep your thermostat on during the day?
In the summer when we’re home it’s usually set to 22° C (71.6° F). I can’t remember what we set it to in the winter. I don’t want to think about the cold weather!

2. What temperature do you keep your thermostat on at night?
I like to keep it at 23° C (73.4° F) but Kyle usually turns it down to 22° or 21°, depending on how hot it is outside.

3. In a canister of mixed nuts, do you pick out certain varieties and leave the others?
I always pick out the cashews and leave the rest! I’ll eat an almond or two if they’re in there. I’m not a huge fan of salted nuts though.

4. What is your favorite kind of M&M?
Pretzel!! OMG SO GOOD!

5. How do you buy books? (Amazon, bookstore, new, used, electronic, etc)
Usually at the bookstore. Sometimes I’ll order them online if they’re all out at the bookstore though.

6. How do you like your eggs cooked?
I usually order them poached or over easy.

7. Can you whistle?
I can, but I can’t do that crazy-loud whistling. Never have been able to, never will!

8. What common word do you always misspell?
Convenience. I just had to spell check that.

9. Are you afraid of flying?
Not really. I can’t look out the window while we’re landing though. Terrifies me.

10. How often do you go shopping?
I’m assuming this means going clothes shopping, in which case, not very often. I’ll maybe go two or three times a year, but it’s usually just for a couple things. Since I finished school, I don’t to “Shop ’til I Drop” trips anymore.

1. What is your favorite brand of shoes?
I don’t really have a favourite, to be honest. My “sneakers” are usually Etnies, which are actually a skateboard brand. I just buy whatever looks good. I’ve really been wanting to buy a pair of Toms though, but with winter coming, I don’t know how practical they’d be. Plus I own way too many shoes anyway.

2. How old were you when you learned to tie your shoes?
I can’t remember that far back! We’ll say 4 years old. Sounds like a good age I think. I do remember my dad trying to teach me though.

3. How do you feel about freckles?
They’re cute on the right person. I have a few and don’t really like them, mostly because I have so many moles.
4. I can count to ten in ___ languages.
Two. Be jealous!

5. What is your favourite store-bought ice cream flavor?
Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked. Cookie dough AND brownie pieces? Yes please!

6. Were you in ballet or gymnastics as a little girl?
Neither! I was in soccer and softball. I swear I wasn’t a tomboy, we just didn’t have those programs when I was little.

7. Who is your favorite Sesame Street character?
Snuffeuphagus.

8. What’s your bedtime?
Usually around 11 o’clock, but if I’m super tired, 9:30-10. I’m old like that.

9. Do you have any jewelry that you wear every single day?
Other than my engagement and wedding rings? Just the necklace Kyle got me and my tunnels for my ears.

10. Who is the bug killer in your household?
Kyle is for sure. I’ll do it if he’s not home, but if he is, forget it. I’m doing going near spiders or the like.
