On Saturday, April 14, I had to make the tough decision to say goodbye to my beloved Daphne.
I don’t particularly feel like getting into the details about it all, other than that she was no longer living her best life and that it was the right thing to do. I cannot thank my husband enough for being there for me and supporting us both on Saturday. I truly could not have done it without him.
Daphne was truly one in a million and everyone who had the opportunity to meet her would probably agree; She certainly wasn’t your average dog and her personality left an impression on you, if not her fluff definitely did.
She had an amazing life and I’m so glad I was her human through it all. I’ll miss her big blue eyes and her warm, thick fur. Thank you, Daphne, for making being a pet owner so incredibly meaningful. May the weather always be cold and snowy, until we meet again.
I’m so sorry, Kara. What an incredibly difficult thing to do. Sending you all the hugs and love. Daphne is over the rainbow bridge now and her rainbow bridge is probably covered in snow <3 <3
