I hope everyone had/is having a great long weekend! I know that everyone in the US is observing the July 4th holiday today, so I just thought I’d share a few photos I snapped with my camera phone on Canada Day. I forgot my camera at home, so I didn’t get a lot of shots :(
These first few photos are from the multi-cultural food fare that they have every year. The longest line, of course, was the one I chose to stand in, for Filipino food:
The wait? Completely worth it! For $10 I got a spring roll, a BBQ beef skewer and a huge pile of noodles! (I can’t remember what it was actually called)
There was tons of local artists and artisans, music, and just good times. It was great spending some time with my family, even though the weather was kinda lame.
I’m back to work today, so all you American readers enjoy your day off! (I’m jealous!)
Happy Monday!
Looking at that food first thing in the morning is making me hungry! I’m not sure if I’ve ever had Filipino food.

If you ever have the chance, try it! I used to work with two Filipino ladies a while back and they would make us food when it was quiet in the restaurant. SO FREAKING AMAZING!
