Ten on Tuesday

1. What is your dream vacation?
I don’t have a dream vacation, really. I would love to go to China one day though. If it doesn’t happen, I wouldn’t call my life a waste though.
2. What has been your favorite trip so far in your life?
Kyle and I’s first trip to Vancouver together. It was amazing and all inclusive. Can’t get any better than that!
3. If you and one of your best friends could go anywhere in the world for one week, where would it be and why?
Somewhere tropical, where we’d sip on fruity drinks and oggle at the pool boys.
4. Have you ever booked a trip using an online deal? How did it go?
I haven’t, only because I don’t travel. One day … one day …
5. What’s your favourite thing to do while you’re on vacation?
Eat! When in Rome, right? I love to try new foods when I go places. Sight seeing is okay, but eating is so much better!
6. Have you ever missed an opportunity to take a trip that you regret?
Nope.
7. You travel far away from home and get stranded with no way to buy anything, what’s the one thing you can’t live without?
A map, or GPS. At least I could find my way around somehow.
8. What’s one of your favourite traveling memories?
Traveling with my grandparents. They’ve taken me to so many places! I flew to Palm Springs to see them, I went to the Sunshine Coast with them, I travelled with them to Alberta. They are amazing grandparents!
9. All included resort or backpacking? Why?
All-inclusive. I’m a big baby and would probably whine about backpacking. I’m a little more high maintenance than I care to admit to.
10. Are you more of a lie on the beach kind of person on vacation, or do you prefer to see the sights?
I’d probably see the sights more than I’d lay on the beach, mostly because I hate sun bathing. I like to keep moving when I’m in the sun.

Whirlwind Weekend

I’m back in Kamloops after a busy, BUSY weekend of getting my BFF married!

I have photos, which I haven’t dumped off my camera yet. I’ll probably get on that Wednesday. We’ll see.

I’m still so exhausted and tired from travelling, sleep deprivation and excitement of the festivities.

Basically, this post is just to let you know that I survived my drive to and from the north, without any run-ins with moose running wild on the highway.

Happy Monday! Hope you all had fabulous weekends!

And I’m off!

I’m off this morning to the great British Columbian North! I’m a little bummed that I’m going to miss my friends’ birthdays, but my BFF is getting married!

Tomorrow I have a fabulous guest post lined up from Nicole, so be sure to check that out!

I’ll be back Monday! Enjoy your weekend!

I’ll leave you with a photo I took of my new bamboo plants, which I plopped into an old garlic-stuffed olive jar with some rocks. Adorable and thrifty, no? I’m quite proud of myself!
