To the man who …

… Tells me I’m beautiful, even when I’m feeling down on myself …

… Shows so much love towards our two little girls, even when the chaos is sometimes (most of the time) absolutely unfathomable …

… Works his ass off every day so we can live the best life possible, even though some days I know push him to his breaking point …

… Has shown me what determination truly looks like, and that you can accomplish damn-near anything you put your mind and heart to …

… Knows exactly how beige I like my coffee and how “done” I like my eggs, and who will go out of his way to make sure I’m taken care of …

… I love with all my heart: Thank you for being the most amazing husband over the past six years. You make everything in my life so much better and I’m so happy to have you all to myself.

Happy Anniversary, Kyle. I love you!

Five Years

“So tonight I’ll ask the stars above,
How did I ever win your love?
What did I do? What did I say,
To turn your angel eyes my way?”

Today marks five years since we took this stroll down the aisle as husband and wife. Five! It seems like just yesterday that we were a couple of teenagers driving around in your car because there was nothing else to do, and now look at us – kids! Dogs! Houses! While we grew up together we’ve also grown together. We strengthen each other weaknesses and make the other one a better person.

There really aren’t enough words in the dictionary to describe how lucky I feel to be married to the most incredible man in my life. All I can say is that the past five years have been the most rewarding ones that we’ve spent together, and I cannot wait to see what the future brings to us.

I love you, my dear. Happy 5th Anniversary!!

Four years

It’s amazing to think that four years have passed since Kyle and I tied the knot! We’ve grown and learned so much all the years we’ve been together. There’s been a bit of this:

We’ve been through a lot during our fourth year of marriage, from family members passing to miscarriages to the “usual” marital spats about petty things, but we’ve always managed to pull through. The good days outnumber the bad, and for that I am truly grateful. We’ve been able to laugh and be in love with each other and our growing little family.

I love the fact that I can honestly say that I married my best friend. He’s my voice of reason, my rock, my person. It’s safe to say that I’d be a little more than lost if I didn’t have him in my life. As cheesy as it sounds, Kyle completes me, and I like to think I do the same for him. If anything, he’s my calculator and I’m his spell-check.

Happy Anniversary, my love, and here’s to many, many more <3
