Ten on Tuesday

1. What is your favourite decor item in your house?

That is a very good question. I don’t think I have a favourite decor item! My floor lamp that my mom gave us is really nice …

2. What is your favourite hair product?

As lame as it may sound, shampoo and conditioner. Nothing is better than freshly washed hair!

3. Are you a good dancer?

Haha, define “good”. I’ve been known to cut the odd rug or two, but I’m no John Travolta circa Saturday Night Fever.

4. You get some good news, who’s the first person you call?

Either my mom or Kyle, depending on who’s available first.

5. Would you rather take pictures, or be in pictures?

Take pictures, but I don’t mind being in the odd one.

6. What is your shoe style?

Flat and comfortable!

7. How often do you eat out?

Usually once a week or less.

8. If someone has food in their teeth, do you tell them?

It depends on whether or not I know them, but yes.

9. Do you fold your underwear?

Nope. Haha, there’s not much material, so there’s no real point in folding them.

10. Milk, dark, or white chocolate?

White chocolate, please!

1. What does your work out schedule look like?

Right now, it’s non-existent. Previously, when I had the time, I would go to the gym two or three times a week and do about 20-30 minutes of good, hard cardio. I’d also go to a strength class once a week for an hour.

2. What is your favorite machine to use at the gym?

The elliptical! The treadmill made me feel funny after I used it, like I was still moving. Scary!

3. What is your favorite class to take at the gym?

The strengthening class that I went to. It made my muscles feel and look amazing!

4. Where do you shop for work out gear and clothing?

Lululemon. Yeah, kinda stereotypical, but their clothing is SO comfy, I can’t resist.

5. If you can’t go to the gym, do you have a favorite outdoor activity?

I used to play soccer, and I wish I still had time to. I miss it! Softball was really fun though in the summer. Hopefully I’ll be able to play again.

6. What about a favorite work out DVD? If so, please share!

I quite like Jillian Michael’s Yoga Meltdown. She’s scary intense!

7. Are you more active now or when you were in high school?

Definitely when I was in high school. Definitely!

8. How has your dieting/working out philosophy changed since high school?

I actually have to make an effort to work out now. In high school, I just played sports, so that kept me active. Now that I’m busier, it’s harder to make the time to be active.

9. What do you do while working out– (i.e., day dream, read, listen to music, gab with a friend)?

I always had my iPod at the gym, and usually I’d bring a magazine to flip through to keep my eyes away from the crazy hardcore people working out a zillion times harder than me. Show offs.

10. What working out resolution would you like to make for yourself this year?

Find a routine that works for me and STICK TO IT. That’s my biggest flaw I think, not sticking to a routine and making excuses to break it.

1. What keeps you up at night? (figuratively)

Not a heck of a lot at the moment.

2. What keeps you up at night? (literally)

The disgustingly warm fall weather, or anxiety.

3. Where do you want to go in life? (figuratively)

Where ever life may take me.

4. Where do you want to go in life? (literally)

Some place lovely.

5. Have you ever bit off more than you could chew? (figuratively)

Oh, most definitely, but I usually manage to power through everything.

6. Have you ever bit off more than you could chew? (literally)

Yeah. It makes for awkward dinnertime moments.

7. Is the grass really greener on the other side of the fence? (figuratively)

It depends on what it is you’re looking for in life. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

8. Is the grass really greener on the other side of the fence? (literally)

Considering my neighbour on one side only has a brick patio and no grass and the other is no longer alive, yes.

9. If you can’t stand the heat, do you get out of the kitchen? (figuratively)

Sadly, yes. I hate arguments so I avoid them.

10. If you can’t stand the heat, do you get out of the kitchen? (literally)

If I’m the one not cooking, hell yes!
