Ten on Tuesday

Two posts in one day! I guess that’s the great thing about doing the 30 Day Blogging Challenge!

Anyway, here’s another installment of ToT, brought to you by the awesome Chelsea! (Click the button to go to her page !)

1. Do you colour? If you do, is it with markers, crayons, colored pencils, etc.?

I haven’t coloured in ages! I guess I need some little ones in my life. But – I think my favourite medium to use is probably pencil crayons, followed by crayons. Remember those boxes of crayons with the built-in sharpener? Yeah, I have one still! lol

2. What’s the most organized part (or system) in your house?

Probably my kitchen cupboards. I like having a functional kitchen and not having to search high and low for something in the middle of cooking. My plastic container cupboard is amazingly tidy!

3. What’s the most unorganized part (or system) in your house?

Probably our basement. It just have random stuff on the shelves with no real organization. Kyle’s grinder is sitting beside the canned tomatoes … it’s a mess down there!

4. If you had unlimited amounts of time and money, what museum would you want to see and why?

I got to visit the Royal Tyrell Museum when I was in Grade 6 and that was pretty awesome. (DINOSAURS!!) I’d also love to visit the NMNH in NYC just because of the cool exhibits. History is pretty cool; I’d probably go to any museum!

5. What is your favourite part of the fall season?

Warm sun through the windows on a cold day.

6. Did you dress up for Halloween?

I did. My costume was just thrown together, but it was fun dressing up for work.

7. Have you started Christmas shopping?

Heck no!

8. Do you crack your knuckles?

Yes, all the time. I refuse to believe that it’s bad for me.

9. If you had to live in another city for a year (all expenses paid), which city would you choose?

Vancouver, hands down. There’s just so much to see and do, and it’s still close to home.

10. Do you have any reoccurring dreams?

Lately I’ve been having horrible “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant”-type dreams. Horrible! Scary!

Three Things Thursday

I’m totally borrowing this from one of my blogging heroes, Amber, because I can’t think of a topic solid enough to write a whole post about. And it’s late Wednesday night as I type this. And all I can think about is food. See? My mind can’t concentrate on one thing for too long. Moving on …

One

I know I posted yesterday about not wanting to cave and have to get glasses, but I ended up calling the eye doctor and making an appointment to get my eyes checked. My appointment isn’t until mid-November (on Kyle and I’s eight-year anniversary actually), so I’ll be full of whining of not being able to see things clearly far away until then. Glorious!

Two

Kyle and I have a temporary roommate for a couple months. One of his friends who he met while taking his Level C welding training is in town taking his Level A training, so he’s staying at our place. It’s kind of nice having someone for Kyle to “talk shop” with, because I’m pretty much as useless as tits on a bull when it comes to that stuff. The great thing? While they’re talking about welding, I just drown them out and read a book. I actually just bought The Girl Who Played With Fire, and I can’t wait to start reading it :)

Three

I’m a little sad that I have to work on Halloween. I’d rather stay at home and answer the door than work (obviously). My Halloween costume isn’t even that creative. I’m basically just wear my work “uniform” from when I worked at the copper mine for the summer in 2008, smelly hardhat and everything.

That’s it!

What’s your three?

Ten on Tuesday

1. What is your favourite decor item in your house?

That is a very good question. I don’t think I have a favourite decor item! My floor lamp that my mom gave us is really nice …

2. What is your favourite hair product?

As lame as it may sound, shampoo and conditioner. Nothing is better than freshly washed hair!

3. Are you a good dancer?

Haha, define “good”. I’ve been known to cut the odd rug or two, but I’m no John Travolta circa Saturday Night Fever.

4. You get some good news, who’s the first person you call?

Either my mom or Kyle, depending on who’s available first.

5. Would you rather take pictures, or be in pictures?

Take pictures, but I don’t mind being in the odd one.

6. What is your shoe style?

Flat and comfortable!

7. How often do you eat out?

Usually once a week or less.

8. If someone has food in their teeth, do you tell them?

It depends on whether or not I know them, but yes.

9. Do you fold your underwear?

Nope. Haha, there’s not much material, so there’s no real point in folding them.

10. Milk, dark, or white chocolate?

White chocolate, please!
