Three years

Kara&Kyle373

When people ask me how long I’ve been married to my husband and I respond with three years, I wish I could dive deeper into the question. For us, it’s been so much longer than just three years of marriage; behind that there were eight years of dating, and even before that, there were years of friendship, both on and off. Today, I don’t know what my life would be like if I hadn’t taken the chance and told him that I wanted to kiss him – and if he hadn’t jumped on the opportunity to do so.

No one ever before has had such an amazing affect on my life in such an amazing way. While we will always have our moments of frustration and anger, I’m certain that our true love can really triumph over all obstacles. He gets me and I get him.

I couldn’t be any more lucky to be married to the best guy in the world. I love you, Mister. Happy Anniversary!

Eleven

Eleven years ago I was 16 and never would have thought that the boy I casually said, “If you ask me out, I’ll say yes” to would eventually become my husband and the most wonderful father to our amazing little girl.

Over the past 11 years we’ve been through so, SO much together, and I know there’s a lot more in store for us in the future.

Happy [Dating} Anniversary, my love! You’re the best!

Two Years

Two years ago today, I married the love of my life and who I truly consider to be my soul mate. I never really believed in soul mates, but after being with Kyle for almost 11 years, it’s hard to deny that we’re meant to be together. Who would’ve thought that 10 years after we first originally met, we’d start dating, and then 8 years later we’d be married? I certainly didn’t!

Regardless, the past two years have been absolutely amazing and filled with wonderful moments, and I cannot wait for all of the years to come. I love you, my dear. Happy anniversary!
