Seven

Isla is now the same age that we were when we first met, and it probably wouldn’t surprise you to know that she has a little crush on a boy in her class. Although she’s pretty quick to shut us down on the topic, she does look at us like we’re crazy when we tell her that her mom and dad her her age when they first met.

I don’t think I’m going to have to start wedding planning for her anytime soon, but Kyle and I’s history of togetherness has allowed me to believe that perhaps, just maybe, true love does exist.

Who would’ve thought when I met that silly boy with the glasses and bear country shirt that we’d one day be married. I couldn’t ask for a better partner to do life with, and I appreciate every up and down that has be thrown our way. Our love has only grown stronger over the past seven years, and I know it will continue to do so as we travel down whichever path life takes us on.

Kyle, I’m so glad you proclaimed all those years ago that you were going to marry me some day. Thank you for never giving up and showing me what it means to be strong, have courage, and love unconditionally. Thank you for showing our daughters what being a good man looks like. I couldn’t be prouder to be your wife. Happy Anniversary, my darling, here’s to so many more <3
