Happy New Year! Again? Yes! Today is the beginning of the new lunar year, also known as Chinese New Year! It’s the year of the Rabbit, don’tcha know!
This will be the last year of lucky money for me, since married kids don’t get those marvelous little red envelopes. Boo!
Anyway, I’ll be celebrating with my Dad sometime next week whenever everyone’s work schedules cooperate. We’ll eat lots of noodles (Long Noodle – Long Life!) and I’ll hopefully be able to finally satisfy my Won Ton Soup Craving!

There’s so many different ways to spell it! I think my dad goes with “Kung Hai Fat Choy”. I think the way I did it is the simplified white-person way, lol
