1. Any vacations you are looking forward to this summer?

Not reallly … There’s my wedding in June, and then one in July that we’re invited to, and then I’m a bridesmaid in one in August … I guess it will be a summer full of weddings!

2. What is your favourite article of summer clothing (shoes are included)?

It’s gotta be flip flops. They are my favourite form of footwear. I guess I’ll throw in tank tops/wife beaters too. I love my sleeveless tops!

3. What is your favourite summer drink (alcoholic or non)?

Belini’s! I think I may have to hunt a recipe down and have a belini party if/when I get patio furniture.

4. Do you tan or burn?

I burn and then it turns into a tan. I guess that’s what happens when you’re half Chinese. My brother just tans – I’m jealous!

5. Any goals you are working toward this summer?

Get in shape I guess. I’m putting my new gym membership to use on Wednesday morning. I’m a little nervous to start up at this new place, and in the morning to boot! Something tells me it will be busy.

6. What is your favorite summertime food?

BBQ’d steaks, Greek salad and pasta salad. Actually, any type of salad and any type of BBQ’d meat.

7. What song most says “summer” to you?

Haha, “Summertime” by New Kids on the Block, right Melissa?

8. Any home improvement goals planned for this summer?

Possibly. We want to put new doors in and probably new windows. (They’re the original ones and are so not energy efficient!)

9. What is one thing you hate to see at the beach?

Man thongs. Garbage & cigarette butts. Girls in teeny-weenie bikinis who shouldn’t be wearing teeny-weenie bikinis.

10. Did you ever go to a summer camp?

I did a science camp once. Kyle and I were actually in the same group – and this was when we were like, 7 or 8! Magical :)

Honey Cruellers from Tim Hortons. Mmmm …

2. Do you use the snooze button?

When I turn my alarm on, yes, or I’ll never wake up on time. Lately I’ve just been getting up with Kyle as he heads to work.

3. Do you write in cursive, print, or a combination of the two?

It’s a lovely combination of the two most of the time. I should take up writing love poems for people, just so I can write in cursive all the time.

I am so not a spur of the moment joke teller. Sorry.

5. How many languages do you speak?

One.

6. Why did you start blogging?

Originally it was for a class assignment for one of my Journalism courses. It just kind of continued from there.

7. Do you use bar soap or liquid body wash?

Usually just bar soap, unless I want my skin to feel exceptionally smooth. Then I’ll reach for the loofah and Dove body wash.

8. Do you buy bottled water?

No, I think it’s a waste. We have a Brita water jug in the fridge and we just filter our tap water, even though the tap water here is already excellent for drinking.

9. What did you think of the Super Bowl Half Time Show?

I didn’t watch it because I had to work. Even if I didn’t, I don’t think I would’ve watched it.

10. How do you feel about Steve Carell leaving The Office?

Haha, again, I don’t watch The Office. But good for him?

1. What is your favourite childhood memory?

Probably camping at the lake with my family. We would ride our bikes everywhere, go swimming and fishing … I miss that.

2. What is your favourite quality about yourself?

My loyalty. To everything except exercising. Ha!

3. What is your favourite thing that your child does?

I don’t have a child, but the favourite thing my FUR-child does is talk back. Not something I’d find amusing in a regular child, but Daphne’s hilarious when she’s being sassy.

4. What is your favourite thing to do to relax?

Read. I just bought a bunch of new books, so I’ll be occupied for a while :)

5. What is your favourite restaurant? And what is your favourite thing on the menu?

That’s a good question! I have a lot of favourites, but my all-time is Accolades. I can’t pick a favourite item from the menu because it’s always changing!

6. What is your favourite piece of jewelry (besides your wedding ring)?

Hmm … probably the necklace Kyle got me.

7. What is your favorite night of the week M-TH? And why?

Thursdays! Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice and cuddling on the couch with Kyle :)

8. What is your favourite dessert?

It’s gotta be cake. Or a brownie fudge sundae. Mmm!

9. What is your favourite item in your make-up bag?

My eyelash curler. My top and bottom eyelashes stick together if I don’t use it, lol

10. What is your favorite smell?

Anything cooking in the kitchen. I love the smell of good eats!
