Day 15

A Bible Verse

So, I have never read a bible. Ever. I’m not a particularly religious person. I went to Youth Group when I was in Grade 7 just for the fun and games, and we would sing weird songs about Jonah and the Whale, the evil King of Babylon, and whatnot. We’d also watch Veggie Tales a little bit. And sometimes we’d have to memorize verses.

The only verse I remember is actually the same one that Amber used for her Day 15 post of the 30 Day Blogging Challenge. I was actually surprised that she picked that one.

For the record, this is what is reads:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
– Proverbs 3:5,6
I don’t know why that one sticks in my head, but it does for some reason, and that’s about as religious as I get.

Day 14

A Picture You Love

There’s a lot of photos I love, some I’ve taken on my own, some other have taken, but right now, the photo I love is this one:

If you missed it on Twitter, Kyle proposed on Friday night! I’ll tell the whole story soon, but for now, I’ll just leave you with what I can’t stop staring at, making it the photo I currently love :)

Tomorrow: Bible Verse

Day 13

Goals

I don’t know if I’m a goal-oriented person. I mean, I have my daily goals of waking up and getting to work on time, but really, now that I have my house, I really don’t have many long-term goals. I suppose I can scrounge up a few for the sake of this blog post though!

  • I’d like to get back into going to the gym. I’ve been feeling sluggish and lazy lately, so getting back to the gym would probably be a good thing. That being said, I’d probably have to restrict my availability at Job #2 to do so. I work to damn much!
  • Maybe I should just quit Job #2. There’s a goal! Quit Job #2 for GOOD.
  • Have babies.
  • Eventually get married.
  • Work full-time at Job #1.

Hmm, that’s about it. How lame am I? So inspire me: What are some of your goals, long or short-term?
