Her chariot

Time // 9 p.m.

Place // We’re all over the place these days. The kitchen, the living room, the basement … The basement is the easiest though.

Eating // Peanut butter & jam sandwiches. On hoagie buns. We’re all out of bread, so I’m improvising.

Drinking // Juice. Not fresh squeezed from real vegetables, but frozen, from concentrate goodness. Ain’t no one got time for that.

Watching // I’m onto season 9 of Grey’s Anatomy on Netflix and I’m determined to get the rest of it watched before the actual return of the show on TV in February. Then? Then I’m going to tackle Dawson’s Creek.

Reading // I’m still only 5% of the way through Pride & Prejudice, but I haven’t really been reading a lot lately. I also started reading Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close since I had a 30% off code for Kobo. So far, I’m enjoying it!

Wanting // Summer. There are so many things I’m looking forward to already this year and summer is definitely #1 on that list.

Thinking // About my job situation, or more so about the fact that I don’t have one. I’ve been thinking a lot about retraining in another field. It’s really been a tough decision for me to make because I love journalism and writing, but I’m facing the sad reality that making a career of it in the city I live in is far fetched.

Needing // To put myself on a bedtime schedule. It makes me sound like a child, but I’m horrible at going to bed at a reasonable hour when Kyle’s on nightshift. I end up on the internet browsing whatever until whatever time then I read in bed, and then before I know it, it’s midnight and I forgot that I have to get up at 7 the next morning. Baaaaad me.

Anticipating // Brent Butt in February, Kyle’s new shift at work, and more ;)

  1. I’ve never watched Grey’s Anatomy, but Dawson’s Creek takes me back! I remember when it first came out, you could drive through town when it was on and you wouldn’t see another soul because everybody was inside, watching the drama. And the next day, it was all anyone talked about. Small town life … I’m suffering from the lack of a bedtime schedule too. I used to go to bed at 10 every night but now that Nathan and I are watching Dr. Who, I’m doing well if I’m in bed before midnight :D 6:15 comes early!
