10 Day You Challenge

6 Places:

1. My hometown. I have mixed feelings about this place. It’s always in my heart, but I don’t think I’d ever want to live there again. It’s flame is sadly burning out as a livable town.

2. My current city. I feel that it’s the perfect sized city. Not too big to the point where it takes for one end of the city to the other (like Vancouver), but not so small that there’s no luxuries or amenities (like Starbucks or 24/7 stores).

3. China. Okay, that’s a little vague, but I’d really like to visit China one day to take in some of the Chinese heritage.

4. Vancouver. I’ve taken many a family trip to Vancouver when I was little, and the couple times Kyle and I travelled there together it was amazing. I have a lot of fun memories in that city.

5. Anywhere my grandparents took me. I was spoiled a lot by my grandparents, and part of that was them taking me on roadtrips with them. From Sechelt to Calgary, and flying me down to Palm Springs – I loved the time I got to spend with them on vacation.

6. The places I plan to take Isla someday. The wildlife park. The aquarium. Stanley Park. Waterslides. I want her to see the world.

7 Wants:

1. Isla to grow up knowing that her family loves her no matter what she does.

2. A white Christmas. As I write this post (Dec. 1), it’s pouring with RAIN outside. I’d love for Isla’s first Christmas to be a white one.

3. Never-ending coffee.

4. Spicy food. I’d kill for some Thai coconut curry soup right now.

5. A vacation to anywhere. I’d love to go to Tofino, and Kyle really wants to take me to Vegas.

6. Bedroom furniture. It’s one of the many things on Kyle and I’s “Wants” list, but I think it’s been on it the longest. We are currently using old moving boxes as nightstands and we have no bedframe.

7. A new car – but who doesn’t want one?

8 Fears:

1. Losing loved ones or being alone

2. Spiders

3. Clowns

4. Passing semi trucks/trailers on the highway

5. Being broke. It may sounds vain and materialistic, but we have two mortgages and a baby. Although the idea is nice, you just can’t live off love.

6. Divorce. I know it’s kind of the same thing as #1, but honestly, divorce scares me because it can ruin families in more ways than the obvious.

7. Cancer. I hate it so much and it’s taken away so many people I know.

8. Death. Who isn’t, even it’s just a little bit?
